What it does
Pulls the dominant colors out of an image and returns them as usable values
Takes an image and returns the dominant colors as hex values, with optional role labels: primary, secondary, accent, background, text. Works on photos, logos, screenshots, and any other image where the question is what colors are actually in use. Output is shaped to drop into a design tool, style config, or brand check.
When you’d reach for it
- ▸Extracting colors from existing brand assets so new materials can be matched before going to print.
- ▸Generating a matching color scheme for a customer-facing portal directly from an uploaded logo.
- ▸Comparing extracted palette values from page screenshots against an approved brand color set during design QA.
