What it does
Aligns a raw GPS track to the nearest roads on the map network
Takes a sequence of raw GPS coordinates as recorded by a device in motion and snaps each point to the most likely road segment. Cleans up drift, fills gaps, and returns a corrected path with optional turn-by-turn step annotations. Suited to reconstructing accurate routes from field device logs.
When you’d reach for it
- ▸Cleaning up a technician's recorded drive path for mileage reporting.
- ▸Reconstructing the actual route a vehicle took from raw GPS pings.
- ▸Verifying that a driver followed the dispatched route.
